Job Responsibilities:Perform Installation & Maintenance: Repair and maintain electrical systems, including weather heads, meter bases, outdoor disconnects, panels, breakers, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to National Electrical Code and industry standards Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers professionally, addressing questions, explaining electrical systems, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner We pride ourselves on offering paid customer service & technical training sessions. We also provide sessions for Electrical Code updates to keep our Electricians current with the NEC.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience. Valid E2 Connecticut License preferred but not necessary. Thorough knowledge and experience with Residential Electrical Services, Panels and Grounding Systems and ability to install these systems unsupervised. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Confident, "in the moment" decision making ability. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
