SummaryUnder the direction of the Director or VP Patient Care is responsible for the organization, implementation, development, and physician alignment necessary to provide world class patient services, establishing and sustaining a patient-centered focus and through that focus, achieving the administrative, clinical and financial goals established by Parkview Health, and in concert with all Parkview Health partners, physicians and other leadership. Is responsible for overall management and practice performance of the Telehealth Nurse Triage and Medication Managment Specialist (MMS) Teams. Works with senior leadership and physicians in a collaborative manner, assuring all policies, procedures and programs are compatible with goals and objectives of line of business.Oversees a 24/7, 365 days operations of daytime and after-hours phone triage line serving patients and departments for the entire Parkview Health service area. Ensures efficient and effective triage services, managing day-to-day operations, and contributing to the development of best practice, and process improvement of the nurse triage and medication refill processes. Requires a combination of clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.EducationRequires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN); Master’s preferred.License/CertificationIndiana RN license.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in emergency nursing, telehealth, or triage services is highly desirable.Other QualificationsLeadership and team management skills. Demonstrated ability to implement and manage healthcare services and programs. Must possess solid analytical skills. Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge clinical operations, finance, clinical operations, service excellence and revenue cycle processes.
