Job DutiesThe Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is currently seeking 25-30 individuals to conduct in-person interviews for the Metropolitan Council 2026 Park and Trail Visitors Study. Interviews will take place in parks and on trails throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Paid training is provided. This is an ideal position for students or those who are looking for part-time summer work. It is also an ideal position for people who like to be outdoors in the summer and enjoy interacting with people.The position requires working 20 to 40 hours per week from May through the first week in September. Shifts are available every day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Some weekend work is required. The position requires reliable transportation to a variety of parks throughout the seven-county metro area.Minimum Education RequiredCandidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, a professional attitude, ability to use a computer tablet, promptness, attention to detail, and good listening skills. Interviewing or relevant experience is preferred, but not required. A high-school diploma or GED is not required.Candidates must be willing to work as a team and feel comfortable engaging with park and trail visitors. Candidates must also be willing to work outside and be able to walk and stand on a variety of terrain for long periods.Amherst H.
