Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant | Detroit | Neurology | Full Time | DaysLocation:Henry Ford Detroit, Henry Ford West Bloomfield and Henry Ford LakesideStatus:Full-Time | DaysSchedule:40hrs per weekCall/Weekends:No/NoPosition Overview:Henry Ford Health Systemis seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join theNeurologyteam within the Vascular/Stroke Division. This clinic-based APP will primarily manage ischemic stroke and TIA patients following hospitalization, providing comprehensive post-stroke follow-up care. Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, formulating diagnoses, and developing evidence-based treatment and secondary prevention plans. As experience and comfort grow, the APP may also support neuro endovascular follow-up visits. The provider will collaborate closely with neurologists, stroke specialists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered outcomes.
