Summer Camp Event Coordinator/Asst. Director

Event Coordinator/Asst. Director Future Stars Summer Camps - Farmingdale State College Location 8 Week Summer Position (possibly larger role in future) Summer 2026: June 29 - August 21 Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm camp day. Staff expected to arrive slightly earlier and stay for any brief meetings after departure on a given day. Must have experience with children, summer camps and/or coaching. Seeking an Energetic/Motivated/Enthusiastic person to plan and implement fun events and activities for camper groups to take part in, as well as motivation and influence for staff members and program enhancement.  Ice Breaker activities at orientations, etc. Create and enhance the culture of the camp. Seeking someone with Social Emotional Education / Leadership Experience . Become a 'Front f House' type person to 'Bring the excitement' to new levels. Must be passionate about children and child development. "Locally Based" - NO housing or transportation provided. Salary: $850-$1,000+ per week based on experience and other factors.    Paid bi-weekly.
