The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of professional driving experience, preferably with a moving company Experience, a valid Non-CDL C license, an active DOT card, and a clean Driving Abstract.In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up furniture for private gala functions and events, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently. Exceptional customer service is a key component, as you will interact directly with clients. Weekend are required. Responsibilities Drivers will work with the team loading and unloading cargo from the truck.Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and on schedule.Plan and help navigate routes to optimize delivery efficiency.Driver will handle all paperwork related to deliveries ensuring inventory matches work orders.Complete documentation pertaining to mileage and cargo, fuel, and toll expenses.Follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment. Refuel vehicles and check or replace oil as needed.Inspect trucks daily for damage or maintenance problems.Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors.Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients. Licensing Must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type Non-CDL C Driver . Must have a clear driving record, free of speeding, reckless driving, accidents, speeding, and DUI infractions. Requirements 3+ years of professional driving experience on a 26' foot Box Truck with Air Brakes.Experience working in a moving company would be a plus.Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.Physically fit and able to sit for long time periods.Perform truck maintenance as needed.Experience working with hand tools for assembling and disassembling event layoutsDemonstrates strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor, ensuring positive client interactions and satisfaction. Experience with route driving or courier services is a plus.Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is beneficial.
