Job Title: Cable Assembly Technician Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Cable Assembly Technician, where you will work in the Cable Cell area. This position involves working efficiently through the batching method, where you'll cut, strip, crimp, or solder large batches of wires, ensuring smooth workflow across stations. You'll engage in manual or machine-assisted tasks, depending on station requirements, and receive comprehensive training to rotate between stations regularly.Responsibilities Build cables from scratch, including soldering tasks for those certified or upon certification. Rotate between stations such as cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering. Conduct mechanical and electronic assembly tasks. Ensure precision and attention to detail in all assembly processes. Utilize hand tools, torque wrenches, and follow blueprints/SOPs accurately. Document assembly processes and maintain records. Work collaboratively with computers to enhance assembly efficiency. Essential Skills Experience in cable/wire assembly and soldering. Knowledge of medical assembly processes. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using torque wrenches. Familiarity with documentation and traveler procedures. Ability to strip, crimp, and cut wires efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications IPC-610 and IPC-620 certifications preferred.
