Job Description: Marketing Intern (Growth-Focused | Path to Head of Marketing)We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Marketing Intern to help build and run the marketing function for our construction staffing firm from the ground up. This is not a passive internship. Ultimate Staffing Services is very early in its marketing journey , and we are looking for someone knowledgeable in modern marketing who wants real ownership, real responsibility, and a clear path to becoming our full-time Head of Marketing .This role is ideal for someone who wants to prove they can drive lead conversions , manage paid advertising budgets, and build scalable marketing systems in a real business environment.Core ResponsibilitiesPaid Advertising & Lead Generation (Primary Focus) Manage a monthly paid advertising budget focused on driving lead form conversions from construction subcontractors. Plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across platforms such as: Google Ads LinkedIn Ads Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Any additional platforms you recommend that effectively generate qualified leads Continuously test ad copy, creatives, audiences, and landing approaches to improve cost per lead and conversion rates. Track performance metrics, report results, and make data-driven recommendations. Social Media & Content Execution Create, schedule, and manage social media content across relevant platforms. Develop content that supports paid ads, brand awareness, and lead generation. Maintain a consistent posting schedule and messaging aligned with Ultimate’s brand. Email Marketing Create, update, and manage email marketing campaigns. Write and design email content for: Lead nurturing Client outreach Brand awareness Manage lists, basic segmentation, and performance tracking (open rates, click-throughs, conversions). Marketing Strategy & Ownership Help build Ultimate’s marketing strategy from scratch , including tools, platforms, and processes. Work closely with leadership to align marketing efforts with sales and recruiting goals. Analyze results, identify what’s working, and double down on high-performing channels. Bring ideas, recommendations, and initiative — this role requires minimal hand-holding . Growth OpportunityThis internship is performance-based .If you consistently generate qualified leads and demonstrate ownership, initiative, and marketing competence, Ultimate Staffing Services intends to convert this role into a full-time position as Head of Marketing .We are looking for someone who: Wants responsibility early Is confident in their marketing knowledge Is willing to take ownership and earn a leadership role Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Strong understanding of digital marketing and paid advertising fundamentals . Familiarity with: Google Ads Social media advertising platforms Email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc.) Comfortable working independently and managing projects end-to-end. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize performance. Strong written communication and content creation skills. Highly motivated, self-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset. Interest in construction, staffing, or B2B marketing is a plus (but not required).
