Programmer

Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Equipment (CNC vertical & horizontal mills, CNC lathes & Swiss lathes) Programming in Mazatrol and G code. Make adjustments to and inspect/approve parts with applicable gauging. Check parts to part prints using computer-generated test criteria. Troubleshooting all machines when needed. Troubleshooting tooling issues. Improving cycle times and tool life. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Must pass machinability test. Prior experience in the operation and setup of CNC machines. Experience on both turning and horizontal machining a plus. Knowledge of tooling and able to assist in tool related problem solving. Knowledge of gauges and CMM operation. Ability to follow directions, including detailed procedures or work instructions.
