Services and/or designee Classification: Non-union FSLA Status: Exempt Employment Status: Full Time Pay Grade: $43.9-$45K/year Position Overview: Under general supervision, the position performs tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations independently and for the Licensure specialist at the Will County Regional Office of Education. The position ensures accurate and efficient services to the constituents of Will County at the Regional Office of Education. This includes administrative services and clerical tasks. Strong communication and record-keeping skills are required. Essential Job Functions: Receives, scans and uploads transcripts to ISBE for educator applications/ degrees. Assist educators with the Paraprofessional and Substitute license application process. Process name changes, corrections, etc. that are sent to ISBE. Use ELIS daily to enter degrees and assist educators with professional development activities. Interacts with ISBE on an "as needed" basis regarding licensure. Prepares reports with various statistical data. Answer phone calls and questions regarding licensure and other administrative topics. Assist candidates with fingerprinting requirements. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is required. Performs other related tasks as assigned. Additional Job Functions: This position from time to time will be required to attend activities outside the County. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum Position Requirements/Qualifications: Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience performing complex and responsible administrative duties. Excellent customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (word processing, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations) Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects.
