Position Summary: The Chiller Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:Installation: Set up new chiller systems and components. Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep, including cleaning and adjustments. Repair: Diagnose and fix malfunctions in chiller systems. Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues. Inspection: Conduct regular system inspections to ensure safety and efficiency. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities. Customer Service: Communicate with clients professionally, addressing concerns and providing recommendations. Emergency Response: Handle urgent service calls promptly. Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience with chiller systems and HVAC equipment. Certifications: EPA Universal Certification and relevant chiller training. Skills: Mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting; proficiency with diagnostic tools. Knowledge: Understanding of chiller components and HVAC principles. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills.
