C Shift _ 6pm to 6am Summary:Inspects components and products manufactured or processed for manufacturing and consumer use to the ensure compliance with specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Examines company records, such as Oracle Bill of Materials, Product Checklists, to secure such information as size and weight of the product and results of quality tests. Inspects product to determine compliance with Step2 and customer manufacturing requirements. Visual and physical requirements and packaging requirements. Inspects vendor product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facility for conformity and specified standards. Stamps mark of approval or rejection on product and document on required forms. Audit incoming finished goods and products from external vendors according to the specifications. Use XRF scanner to ensure Safety Compliance. Issue Corrective Action Requests in the event of encountering a nonconformity with our vendor's product. Review and audit inventory as dictated by the Streetsboro Quality Team to verify customer issues are not systemic. Maintains clean and organized work area throughout shift. Use cutting tools, trim excess material from parts when needed. Records scrap created from warehouse, returns, and production items. Uses torch to apply flame to product to reduce or eliminate defects such as reamer marks, scuffs, etc. Maintains tools in a secure location, designed and/or needed for job duties. Responsible for maintaining and ordering replacement components and cartons for rework. Checks all staged loads before loading, to verify accuracy and quality cartons. Spot checking warehouse items, staged orders and incoming items as needed. Applying labels, changing cartons, replacing items inside production as needed. To assist with prepping and loading orders. Use computer to work on data entry/organizations on projects as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products in plus (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Other job related tasks that may be added to and deleted from, from time to time. Education and/or Experience: Previous experience within the assembly, rotational molding facility. Experience with product checklists, tablet computers, Oracle, and Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Outlook and Sharepoint. Language Skills: Ability to effectively work and communicate with other employees within the organization and with vendors outside of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to do general mathematics, such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand assembly and function of all products. Other Qualifications: Work Overtime as needed. Good Judgement and decision making. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee will work at the Warren warehouse location. Upon a need basis this employee may need to travel to the Streetsboro Plant to cover if coverage of QC receiving is needed for absence, vacation, or other reasons not explicitly stated.
