Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing when required. Thoroughly document all processes, assist in training new staff or students, and help sustain lab quality standards. Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment. Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
