SitDown Forklift Operator (Clamp Truck) - Hiring Immediately Aberdeen, MD $19.00-$22.00/hr (based on shift & experience) Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 1st • 2nd • Weekend Shifts Available About the Job We are hiring experienced SitDown Forklift Operators for a major distribution center in Aberdeen, MD. Operators will work fulltime on a Clamp Truck, but sitdown forklift experience is the key requirement, as the skills transfer directly and clamp operation training is provided. This is a longterm, temptohire role with steady hours, weekly pay, and clear growth paths. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent sitdown forklift experience and successfully pass an onsite driving test. •What You'll Do as a Clamp Truck Operator • Operate Sit Down Electric Clamp Trucks fulltime (training provided) • Load, unload, clamp, and maneuver large, bulky, or unpalletized product • Use RF scanners for inventory accuracy and movement • Transport oversized loads throughout the warehouse • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area • Meet daily performance, safety, and accuracy goals •Clamp Truck Operator Requirements Minimum 1 year of RECENT sitdown forklift experience Ability to pass an onsite clamp truck driving test Comfortable operating in reverse for majority of shift RF scanner experience preferred Ability to lift 20-50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally Steel-toe or composite-toe boots required (not shoes) Comfortable working around large appliances and oversized freight Reliable and safety-focused •Preferred (not required): • Prior clamp truck operator experience • Experience with attachments (clamp, push/pull, slipsheet, etc.) Top Benefits • Weekly pay • Shift premiums + overtime opportunities • Handson, paid equipment training • Climate and humiditycontrolled warehouse • Temptohire with longterm career stability • Advancement paths to Trainer, Lead, or Supervisor roles Apply Today Skilled SitDown Operators convert quickly and successfully into Clamp Truck Operator roles-don't wait!
