Pharmacist Staff

Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed (unrestricted) as a pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Must complete facility and HHSC required training Pharmacist must be proficient in computers/electronic health records and order/prescription processing. JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs technical, clinical and consultative pharmacy services for our Client. These include Drug Utilization Review (DUR) functions, dispensing functions, creating and maintaining records of services performed, participating in the drug inventory control system. Ability to check weekly carts, cart update fill, refills, checking weekly narcotic orders and updates, and process furlough medications. Maintains proper inventory management control. Must have good communication skills, organized, and able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work with an interdisciplinary team. Able to supervise technicians in the absence of the pharmacy director.
