We are proud of our rich family heritage and strive to improve every day.Mechanical Engineer I - HVAC & Plumbing Job Description:Responsible for 3D HVAC and plumbing drawings, connecting systems, sizing and taggingEnsures schedules, key notes, and specs are up to dateBIM360 setup, coordination and managementInterface with equipment suppliers as neededPerforms HVAC and Plumbing load calculationsSource cut sheets for all equipment in project including setup and augment sheetsInsert HVAC loads, plumbing loads, gas loads/diagram, DSB reports, custom equipment cut sheets, into job sheets.Coordinate with clients and internal team with/on behalf of project engineer as neededTake site visits as needed to confirm existing equipment/sizing or plan conformanceParticipates in occasional installations for different types of equipment--usually your own designsBuilds positive relationships with customers and teamMaintains a positive attitude and supports GUNTHERS Core Values and MissionCompletes any additional tasks as assigned by Engineering ManagersMechanical Engineer I - HVAC & Plumbing Job Qualifications:Experience with HVAC and/or Plumbing installation and specifications helpfulExperience working with Revit MEP 2020-2024 required, skills in BIM 360, Navisworks, and AutoCAD are a big plusFlexible work hoursOrganized, customer service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.Remains calm and productive under deadlines.Self-starter, self-managed and productivity-focused candidate preferred.Strong and professional verbal and written communication skillsParticipate in whole-team meetings, morning standup, schematics, and peer reviews1+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing design experience preferred, but not requiredRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) is a bonusSame-day (usually just a few hours) travel to customer sites is required.Follows GUNTHERS dress and appearance standards.GUNTHERS is a smoke-free environment – no smoking or vaping.Flexible work from home options available.
