Junior Cost Estimator Remote, WA A local leader in design-based cost consulting and project management is seeking a Junior Cost Estimator to join their growing team. Junior Cost Estimator Responsibilities: Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed construction cost estimates. Perform quantity takeoffs and support the creation of cost assessments. Help document the basis of estimates using input from clients, designers, and engineers. Conduct basic research on market trends and pricing for labor and materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure estimates are clear, defensible, and well-structured. Participate in meetings and coordinate across project teams. Junior Cost Estimator Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in cost estimating, ideally in construction management and/or engineering Exposure to projects in the civic, public, or infrastructure sectors is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam (or similar takeoff software). Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience. Strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and solid communication skills.
