Overview Join STA Pharmaceutical, a renowned WuXi AppTec Company, as a Manager/Senior Manager, CMC Project Leadership. This is a unique opportunity to drive dynamic DS and DP projects within our organization. Your role will be crucial in guiding projects from the proposal stage through to successful completion. You will actively engage with clients, collaborate with technical and business development teams, and represent STA at various industry events. Please be aware that proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required for this position. Responsibilities Assist business development in crafting competitive quotations and proposals by gathering insights from key stakeholders. Plan and implement projects effectively, establishing clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, while defining necessary tasks and resources. Monitor and control project progress scrupulously, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Regularly report on developments to all key stakeholders. Collaborate with the technical team to proactively address potential issues and implement effective solutions. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth daily communications. Represent the company in project meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and actions items to drive accountability. Assess project outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Support the business development team by attending client visits, conferences, and trade shows. Qualifications Experience / Education A Master’s (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences. At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industries is preferred. Project management experience is advantageous. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must. Technical Skills / Knowledge: Strong project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a successful track record across technical and operational domains. Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the small molecule drug development process. Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) is a plus, though not essential. Independence/ Accountability: A self-starter who is motivated and adaptable. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Problem Solving: Proven ability to design and execute effective plans and processes. Leadership Activities: Collaborate closely with team members within business units and the project management team to ensure coherent efforts and clear communication. Communication Skills: Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential. Exceptional communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. The expected annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods. Capability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach. Willingness to travel by plane or train as needed.
