Introduction Join IBM Consulting as a Senior Consultant in our dynamic Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing Transformation Centre of Competence (CoC). Be part of a global team that is dedicated to revolutionizing manufacturing and asset management operations through innovative strategies, AI, and insightful data analytics. In this role, you will: Inspire clients by leveraging IBM's transformational experience and industry-leading practices. Identify opportunities for value creation using our comprehensive consulting frameworks and tools. Co-create groundbreaking solutions through collaborative design sessions and innovation workshops. Work alongside local teams to implement large-scale transformations using established methods and accelerators. Your Role and Responsibilities Lead strategic initiatives focused on manufacturing operations and asset management transformation. Conduct workshops and solution design sessions, drawing on your extensive domain knowledge. Design and implement AI-enhanced solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Collaborate with global teams for the successful execution of transformation programs. Support business growth through thought leadership, client presentations, and strategic proposals. Required Technical and Professional Expertise A successful history in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and managing senior stakeholders. Over 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations and asset management, with a focus on leadership roles in consulting or industry. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AI, IoT, predictive maintenance, and advanced analytics in a manufacturing context. Proven expertise in manufacturing processes, asset lifecycle management, and reliability engineering. Experience in KPI-driven process improvements and operational enhancements. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, particularly in global and multidisciplinary settings. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience within manufacturing, industrial products, automotive, or energy sectors. Hands-on experience with leading platforms such as SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, Oracle Manufacturing, IBM Maximo, or MES systems. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT-enabled assets and connected factories. Knowledge of standards such as Pursue Model, ISA-95, ISO 55000, among others. Understanding of procurement and planning processes for integrated manufacturing and asset strategies. Insight into sustainable manufacturing practices and ESG compliance.
