IT Project Manager – DOT OIG WebsiteJob SummaryThe IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology-enabled projects across regulated, enterprise environments. This role leads full-lifecycle IT initiatives involving ERP systems, systems integration, financial and operational reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. The position ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities – IT Project & Program Management- Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycle activities, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.- Manage complex, technology-enabled projects supporting enterprise and mission-critical operations.- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and mitigation plans.- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.DOT OIG WEBSITE.Systems Integration & Process Optimization- Coordinate systems integration across engineering, QA, procurement, inventory, and operations teams.- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation.Stakeholder & Compliance Management- Serve as liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.- Ensure compliance with federal, military, and organizational policies.- Support audits, governance reviews, and compliance reporting.Reporting & Analytics- Produce executive dashboards, metrics, and project status reports.- Leverage data analysis for leadership decision-making.- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.Required Skills & CompetenciesIT Project Management (SDLC)ERP Systems (SAP Financials)Systems IntegrationData Analysis & ReportingRisk & ComplianceStakeholder EngagementBudgetingAgile & WaterfallEducation & Certifications- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline- Project Management Professional (PMP)- Additional IT or project management certifications preferredExperience Requirements- 15+ years supporting IT or systems-focused projects- Experience in regulated, federal, or enterprise environments- Proven success delivering ERP and systems integration initiatives
