Job Description Position Overview: Join our dynamic Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst where you will play a critical role in supporting our Government Defense and Intelligence organization. In this exciting position, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic insights to influence key business decisions and enhance financial planning processes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, driving forward vital business initiatives. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Lead advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting efforts for designated business units/projects. Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, trends, and performance indicators, delivering valuable insights to business partners. Create and present comprehensive executive reports, dashboards, and business reviews. Assist with long-range planning, scenario analysis, and M&A assessments as required. Collaborate with various departments to assess business cases and investment opportunities. Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, SOX regulations, and corporate governance standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting and planning. Mentor and support junior financial analysts as necessary. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles. Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques. Strong Excel proficiency and experience with financial ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, SAP). Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Sharp attention to detail accompanied by strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Availability to work in a hybrid schedule at our Reston, VA office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in global, matrixed organizations. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Analytics tools. Previous leadership experience in cross-functional initiatives or projects. Prior experience supporting software or technology-focused business units. As part of Oracle's finance organization, you will manage all aspects of financial support for planning and control. You will assist in the consolidation and reporting of weekly and quarterly financial results, with a particular emphasis on OPEX reporting. Engage actively in preparing annual budgets, and gather, model, analyze, and summarize information for financial plans and forecasts. You will perform revenue and bookings analysis, headcount-driven expense analysis at the cost center level, revenue tracking by product and product line, variance analysis, and ad-hoc analysis as required. Participation in cross-functional programs and projects may also be expected. Range and Benefit Information: US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
