Requirements Completion of a two-year accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Valid state radiology registration as mandated by state law. Preferred eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, particularly in critical care environments. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Benefits Weekly pay with direct deposit. Responsibilities MRI Imaging Specialists utilize their expertise in anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to efficiently operate MRI scanners, aiding in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries: Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors in proximity to MRI scanners. Accurately position patients and coils on the scanning table. Administer contrast media as required. Set technical parameters, operate MRI equipment, and monitor image data during scans. Differentiate between normal and abnormal images effectively. Recognize and react to life-threatening situations promptly. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and accepted guidelines. Deliver exceptional, cost-effective patient care in a compassionate manner.
