Department Overview The Critical Communication Networks products organization focuses on designing and delivering solutions that enhance communication efficiency, effectiveness, and safety for businesses. Millions rely on our devices, software, and networks to support operations in various environments, including schools, manufacturing plants, hotels, and distribution centers. The PCR Dispatch Product Management team operates within our larger products and engineering organization, steering the product and business strategy for the Avtec dispatch products portfolio, which encompasses dispatch software, hardware peripherals, and numerous service offerings for enterprise and public safety clients around the globe. We are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic Product Management Intern for our Summer 2026 program. This internship will provide the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our Avtec dispatch products portfolio by collaborating closely with Product Managers and gaining practical experience in the product development journey. Responsibilities may include: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and trends. Assisting in the documentation and organization of product requirements and feature specifications. Supporting the management of the product backlog and preparation for sprint planning meetings. Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing product usage data to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to ensure alignment on product requirements and execution priorities. Preferred Experience Interest in RF/Telecommunications, particularly wireless communication concepts, along with a desire to learn about mobile radio and communication systems. Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile/Scrum, and common application types (web, desktop, or mobile). Basic awareness of hardware design cycles and integration concepts. Foundational knowledge of IP networking and network protocols. An interest in the enterprise or public safety dispatch industry; technical knowledge of public cloud, broadband infrastructure, radio standards, or telephony products is a plus. Basic Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree. Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted for masters-level students).
