Location : Daytona Beach Job Type: Staff - Full-Time Job Number: 202500308 Department: IT-Networking Opening Date: 02/05/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Required Qualifications:An associate degree in Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering, Broadcast Technology or a closely related field and over two (2) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in accordance with Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary on-site technical authority, managing audio, video, lighting, networking, and webcast operations to maintain high production standards. Provide end-to-end technical support during live events, including setup, real-time monitoring, and rapid issue resolution to ensure seamless delivery Collaborate closely with clients to understand event objectives, technical needs, and desired attendee experience. Oversee the routine inspection, testing, and optimization of audio-visual systems, including displays, microphones, speakers, control panels, and conference platforms, to uphold peak performance and reliability. Research emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements that enhance event quality, as well as integrating new hardware and software into existing infrastructure. Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals, to promote consistency and support long-term knowledge retention. Other special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Strong expertise in live sound reinforcement and audio system design Experience supporting high-visibility executive or VIP events Ability to operate mixers, wireless microphone systems, and DSP based audio systems Knowledge of outdoor acoustics, portable PA deployment, and power distribution fundamentals Exceptional problem-solving and in the moment adaptation skills Excellent communication and customer service orientation A collaborative approach, working well with leadership and cross-functional teams Commitment to delivering polished, professional events that reflect institutional excellence This position requires a criminal background screening.
