Responsibilities Inpatient physical therapy float position covering all units within the facility Located on the 4th floor of Building B Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday 8-week contract Patient ratios of 8–10 acute care patients or 4 inpatient rehab patients Team of 12–15 PTs scheduled per day on day shift; no night shift coverage Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS, Xcite, Barihab, and BURT device EMR: Meditech No on-call requirements Responsibilities include physical therapy evaluations and treatments across acute care and inpatient rehab patient populations Collaborative OT/PT team environment with a strong team culture Department has received multiple employee recognition awards and recently added new rehabilitation equipment Any color scrubs accepted; professional appearance required Requirements Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience, with active practice within the last 6 months Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start) Inpatient rehab experience preferred Active PT license required if applicable US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-675203.
