Patient contact hours are 36 hours per week. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There will be procedure/OR days when there is open time. We will work on scheduling cases with the OR. Expect to be included in the call schedule. This role will involve both inpatient and clinic coverage. Hospital coverage will be provided, as well as clinic coverage. Inpatient responsibilities are included. The physician to nurse ratio is 1:1. There is 1:1 ancillary staff per provider. All ENT services are provided in this practice. Each provider will have 2 to 3 exam rooms. Medical imaging services are available in the building. Lab and pharmacy services are also in the building. The clinic provider daily volume is 30 or more patients. Appointment length is typically 15 minutes. The patient population will include Central Iowa and outreach areas. There is a teaching opportunity available. The EMR system used is EPIC. Weekend call will be as needed.
