job summary: Our client, a recognized leader in filtration solutions is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed CNC Machinist & Programmer for a critical production role. This is not a training position; we need a veteran problem-solver with a decade of experience who can bridge the gap between precision machining and structural fabrication. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of stainless steel components-from blueprint to finished part. location: DAYTONA BEACH, Florida job type: Permanent salary: $52,000 - 65,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Precision Machining: Full /"Setup & Run/" ownership of Haas TL-2/TM-2 equipment. Perform offsets, tool changes, and controller adjustments for stainless steel components. Advanced Cutting: Setup and operate HSG Fiber Lasers and Hypertherm HyDef Plasma systems (nozzle centering, file verification, and quality monitoring). Metal Forming: Operate Baileigh Press Brakes and 3-roll benders, including tooling selection and bend allowance verification. Manual & Finishing: Perform manual bridgeport/lathe work for fixtures, operate TimeSavers sanding machines, and manage material logistics via forklift. Required Qualifications 7-10+ Years Experience: Proven track record in a high-mix fabrication and machining environment. Stainless Steel Mastery: Deep expertise in machining and fabricating 304/316 Stainless is non-negotiable. Technical Literacy: Expert-level ability to interpret blueprints (GD&T), select tooling, and use precision measuring tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges).
