Our client is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support high-impact U.S. Government missions in one of the most dynamic and technically advanced environments available. You'll play a key role in optimizing and integrating cutting-edge software into a High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure. You'll be part of a high-performing team tasked with installing, monitoring, and developing innovative tools that support a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Linux-based, containerized 'on-prem' cloud. Technologies you'll work with include Kubernetes, Docker, and Rook, all within a robust DevOps culture. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll: Integrate and optimize software tools to support production-grade HPC systems Maintain and administer large Linux-based computing environments Monitor and troubleshoot software deployments across compute, memory, and storage clusters Support containerized infrastructure in an "on-prem" cloud setting Work closely with DevOps engineers to implement automation and scalability solutions Use modern monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) for system health and performance Required Skills Proficiency using the Linux CLI Scripting experience with Bash and Python Hands-on experience managing compute, memory, network, and storage systems Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet Strong troubleshooting skills with large-scale Linux clusters Familiarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) Experience with Docker and container orchestration Experience administering and monitoring Kubernetes clusters Proficiency using Git and Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence Desired Skills Experience deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Active TS/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph completion CompensationAnnual Base Salary + Bonus Includes full premium benefits package If you're driven by technical excellence and excited to support national security at scale, we encourage you to apply and become part of a mission that truly matters.
