Site Reliability Engineer (Kafka)

Senior Confluent Kafka admin with 10+ years of total IT experience with strong engineering background. Experience of setup and manage Confluent Kafka cluster and monitor its performance & distribution. Design, Configure and manage RBAC and Multi-tenancy. Experience with Confluent Kafka On prem as well as Confluent Kafka Cloud. Manage all Kafka configurations via Ansible. Good experience with setting up DR for Confluent Kafka instances. Coordinate with different development teams and manage their connectivity, usage in Kafka cluster. Document, maintain and present best engineering practice strategies to ensure near-term changes are aligned with long-term release objectives. Collaborate with infrastructure and other backend teams on software upgrades, disaster recovery and other efforts. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in using Confluent Kafka with at least 5 years in administration i.e., cluster management and client integration. Required Skills : Reliability
