NAVA Software is looking for an IAM Engineer Details: Role: IAM Engineer Location: Sacamento CA - Hybrid Duration: 12 months What You Should Expect in This Role Hybrid Role: Applicants living in the Sacramento/Roseville, CA area will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week. Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation Certifications - Any one Must have Okta Certified Professional ForgeRock Identity Management Specialist Ping Identity Certified Professional Description An IAM engineer specializing in Okta, ForgeRock, and Ping Identity requires a broad and versatile skill set to effectively handle these platforms. Below are the key skills: Core Technical Skills Platform Expertise: Proficiency in implementing and managing: Okta (SSO, MFA, Workflows) ForgeRock (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG) Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory) Authentication Protocols: Strong knowledge of protocols such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos for secure user authentication and authorization. Programming & Scripting: Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, and PowerShell for automation, customization, and integrations. Integration and Development Integration Skills: Hands-on experience integrating IAM platforms with AWS cloud, on-premises systems, and SaaS applications. API Knowledge: Familiarity with RESTful APIs for extending platform functionalities. Identity Federation: Understanding identity federation principles to connect and secure users across different domains or organizations. Security and Compliance Security Protocols: Expertise in SSL/TLS, PKI, and encryption standards. Compliance Standards: Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2 to ensure IAM systems meet compliance requirements. Cloud and DevOps Knowledge Cloud IAM: Familiarity with managing identities in hybrid and cloud environments. DevOps Tools: Proficiency in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform for deployments and automation. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical troubleshooting abilities Ability to collaborate across teams Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
