Legal Billing Specialist - Direct Hire Location: Royal Oak, MI (Fully On-Site) Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Company: LHH Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our law firm client LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a wellrespected law firm in Royal Oak, MI, to identify an experienced Legal Billing Specialist for a full-time Direct Hire opportunity. This position is fully onsite and ideal for a detailoriented individual with strong legal billing experience and a passion for accuracy, client service, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with firm guidelines Manage prebills, edit requests, and final bill distribution (electronic and hard copy) Handle ebilling submissions across various client platforms Verify client costs, time entries, and billing adjustments Communicate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies Process payments, manage trust activity, and assist with collections as needed Maintain accurate billing records and support monthend billing cycles Qualifications: Previous legal billing experience required; law firm environment strongly preferred Proficiency with legal billing software and ebilling systems Strong understanding of billing guidelines, time entry, and cost allocation Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting Why This Opportunity: Direct Hire role with long-term stability Competitive salary range: $50,000-$65,000, dependent on experience Wellestablished firm with a collaborative and supportive environment If you are an experienced Legal Billing Specialist seeking your next opportunity in Metro Detroit, we encourage you to apply.
