Implement targeted speech therapy interventions that focus on communication enhancement, language skills, fluency improvement, voice optimization, and swallowing support. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to develop integrated care approaches. Provide educational resources to patients and families to sustain advances made during therapy sessions. Engage in the occasional inpatient therapy assessments, ensuring seamless care throughout the rehabilitation journey. Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to both regulatory and organizational standards. Keep abreast of new developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory within the first month of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practice across all age demographics, along with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and diverse care teams.
