AEPS provides facilities support and security services for government and commercial customers. Our team includes armed and unarmed security personnel, as well as professionals providing investigative services, facilities support services, grounds maintenance and landscaping, military family housing maintenance, and hospital housekeeping. Duties and responsibilities The Human Resources Director coordinates with the Legal Department for implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff, and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. Job Description The Human Resources Director oversees or assists in the following areas: recruiting and staffing organizational planning and development performance management and improvement systems employment and compliance to regulatory concerns employee orientation, development, and training policy development employee relations company employee and community communication compensation and benefits administration employee safety, welfare, wellness and health programs Performs other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization, Labor Relations Five plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement, preferred Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development Knowledge & Job Skills Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HRIS, ADP Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with agility and flexibility Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
