The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery. Care for patients in the OR. Provision of General/regional anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases. The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results. Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia. Anesthesiologist - REQUIREMENTS Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York. Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent. Must have a minimum of two years of recent experience. 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
