The Department of Chemistry is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Forensic Science, a course designed for non-science majors with no prior college-level chemistry experience. The course presents scientific and chemical principles within the context of forensic science-the application of science to law. Qualifications: A completed Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., forensic science, chemistry, or related discipline) is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. College-level teaching preferred; strong content knowledge and interest in teaching also considered. The successful candidate must be able to plan and present instructional material clearly and concisely, apply professional judgment, and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students.
