We are currently seeking Armed Security Guards (Part Time) to work at various locations and facilities throughout the state of Michigan. This position involves providing a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors at assigned sites.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior).Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.Armed Security Guard – Requirements Applicants must meet the following qualifications:Valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL)Successful completion of all required firearm safety and legal trainingValid Michigan Driver’s LicenseMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be a U.S. citizen or legal residentMinimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Law enforcementMilitary serviceEmployment with a licensed security agency High school diploma, GED, or equivalentMust not have any felony convictionsMust be mentally and emotionally fit to carry a firearm and perform security dutiesMust be in good physical conditionMust not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court orderMust have no outstanding warrantsMust successfully pass a background checkMust be willing to have fingerprints takenMust pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.Preferred QualificationsPrevious security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.Experience with security technology and reporting systems.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.Work EnvironmentThis position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
