Active CA license and paid DEA, or progress towards license if currently in a fellowship program. CA fluoroscopy license, or progress towards license if currently in a training program Position characteristics: Primary clinic home at Kaiser Permanente La Palma MOB, providing care to adult and pediatric patients. Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions - routine concerns, diabetic foot care, wound care, and complex pathology. Practice is predominantly clinic-based setting, with a strong emphasis on minor procedures. Elective surgical cases are performed at designated KP surgery centers or contracted outside facilities. Fracture care and acute trauma is primarily managed by the Orthopedic Trauma Team. Provide operative care under the expectation that no case is too big or too small, including hindfoot/ankle surgery, while noting that total ankle replacements are handled by the Foot & Ankle Orthopedists. Collaborate closely with podiatry colleagues, with weekday call managed by Anaheim and Tustin Ranch podiatry locations. The La Palma position is not slotted to take weekday call. Participate in rotating weekend/Holiday hospital call, shared equitably among surgical DPMs. Weekend responsibilities focus on infections, wound management, hospital rounding, and surgical care on both Saturday and Sunday.
