About the Role: As an X Ray Technician at our Health Care and Social Assistance facility located in Bird Road, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body for medical interpretation. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of medical conditions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state license to practice as an X Ray Technician Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting Experience with PACS and RIS systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills Responsibilities: Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body for medical interpretation Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of medical conditions Maintain patient records and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff Provide excellent patient care and customer service Skills: As an X Ray Technician, you will use your knowledge of radiographic procedures and techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images of the body. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of medical conditions. Additionally, you will use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues with equipment or procedures. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing excellent patient care and customer service.
