Lead Maintenance Mechanic – Water and Wastewater Treatment Winter Springs, FL | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Experienced maintenance mechanic with water or wastewater plant experience? This role supports multiple treatment facilities and focuses on keeping critical equipment running safely, reliably, and in compliance. The Role The Lead Maintenance Mechanic performs preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on water and wastewater treatment equipment. This is a hands-on role for a skilled mechanic who can troubleshoot, lead by example, and respond to plant needs. What You’ll Do • Maintain and repair pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, generators, and plant equipment • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues • Support compliance by maintaining equipment performance • Conduct daily inspections and document maintenance needs • Work with SCADA and maintenance software • Follow all safety and operating procedures • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response What You Bring • 5 plus years of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation maintenance experience • Water or wastewater treatment facility experience preferred • Knowledge of pumps, motors, plumbing, and controls • Familiarity with SCADA and CMMS systems • Understanding of National Electric Code preferred • Ability to read drawings, manuals, and specifications • Welding and troubleshooting experience a plus • Valid driver’s license Pay, Schedule, and Benefits • Competitive pay based on experience • Stable weekday schedule • 401k with company match • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and sick time • Selectable paid holidays • Paid parental leave • Disability and life insurance • Employee wellbeing resources Apply Now If you have maintenance experience in water or wastewater facilities and want a stable weekday schedule, apply today.
