Landscape Installation Crew Leader

Job PurposeThe Landscape Construction Crew Leader is a hands-on position in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of all contracted work to be performed on an assigned jobsite. Areas of supervision include commercial landscape full system irrigation installation, landscape construction projects, management of subcontractors and performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions. The site supervisor will read job plans and specifications and install jobs consistent with those specifications and Bland Landscaping Company criteria.ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to: Supervise and train installation crews on all aspects of installation services including promoting safetyExecute the contracted scope of installation projectsRead and execute job plans per specification for the contracted scopeInstall plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapesDigging, tilling, planting, raking, watering and clean-up of landscapesLoad and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucksBagged and Bulk Material handlingSchedule and monitor daily work assignments of Bland Landscaping Company employees and our subcontractorsPlan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each dayPerform and participate in crew and department general and safety meetingsSubmit daily BOSS Mobile TimesheetAdministrative PaperworkTruck and Trailer standardization and cleanlinessUse of technology for communicationCommunicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planningDaily start up and shut down proceduresJob QualityHours managementSafe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers)Ability to adjust irrigation controllers and basic knowledge of irrigation componentsMaintain on site relations and communications with clients, contractors and subcontractorsSafe operation and maintenance of equipmentMay be asked to help in other divisionsParticipate in snow removal in the winter months Crew Enforcement of: Positive AttitudeSolid Work EthicPunctualityDependabilityUniform PolicySafety Policy Salary $45,000 - $52,000 Note All positions have room for growth if the candidate meets the proper qualifications and has a positive attitude.If this is not the right opportunity for you then please check out our opportunities with Branches and Satellites across the Southeast in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
