Job DescriptionAM Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PMPay: $28.00 - $32.00 an hour depending on experienceSafety – Integrity – Customer Focus – Respect & Trust – Accountability – ExcellenceAs a Facilities Technician you will:The Facilities Technician will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. They will be highly skilled with various hand and power tools and will be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.What will my responsibilities include? Conducting routine inspections of Facilities and equipment.Perform preventative maintenance.Handle basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.Perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems.Build shop tables, jigs, tooling and machinery etc. using general shop tools.Read and interpret blueprints and other drawings such as repair manuals.Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.Building crates to ship product or equipment in.Working at heights on ladders and scissor lifts to perform electrical and plumbing tasks and to perform repairs on facilities.Scheduling Contractors to complete repairs that are beyond the scope of the Non-production team. This may include obtaining quotes for the repairs as well.Maintaining all company vehicles. Including delivery and pick up of vehicles to outside auto shops that perform repairs.Using required PPE for the area.Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate – overtime may be required Qualifications: QualificationsWhat key skills and experience do I need?
