POSITION: Crane Service Technician Description: Seeking a experienced Mechanic/ Service technician to join our team as a Crane Service Technician who will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on tower cranes. The technician should have working knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems. Experience and knowledge on cranes is helpful and preferred but not required. Will provide the crane knowledge and training. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain, inspect and troubleshoot various types of cranes including, but not limited to: Overhead, Tower, Port and Pick and Carry Top Skills Troubleshooting Electrical & Mechanical Heavy equipment maintenance Hydraulics Previous Field Technician, Construction, or Industrial experience Crane maintenance or Tower Crane Maintenance experience a plus but not required Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrical Knowledge & Experience: will work with up to 480V as majority of tower cranes are electrical based Need to be comfortable working at elevated heights average height is 200 ft on rare occasions may need to work up to 300-400 feet Ability to read and understand electrical & mechanical drawings or schematics Valid Drivers License Shift: 1st / Day Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday Candidate should be open to overtime as needed Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
