Pest Control Technician

At Zap Pest Control our Pest Control Technicians are responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to residential and commercial property owners in PA, NJ and DE. Our technicians are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service. Previous experience is not required, a senior technician will provide on the job training to new employees.Job duties include : Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate pestsOffering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation optionsProviding estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenanceSetting traps for rodentsSpraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insectsSafe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nestsRecommending products and services for effective pest control Skills and Qualifications : A clear understanding of the safety protocols for pest control, including wearing properly-fitted respirators when working with chemicals and donning protective clothing and glovesGood interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methodsExhibition of strong attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment proceduresWillingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trendsAbility to successfully pass a background check and drug screening Benefits Include : Health InsuranceDental InsuranceTeledoc Services AvailableLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Perks and DiscountsAdvancement Opportunities Part time and full time positions available.
