We are seeking a Lead Product Manager - Developer Platform to join our diverse team dedicated to transforming operations through automation. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of our API and developer experience, empowering both internal teams and external partners to seamlessly integrate with PagerDuty. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between product development challenges and API-first principles, working closely with our AI team on platform alignment and strategy. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with product and UX design managers to understand PagerDuty Operations Cloud functionalities and customer journeys. Gathering and prioritizing feedback from internal development teams and external partners. Partnering with engineering and design teams to enhance API design and developer experience. Aligning platform strategy with AI initiatives for cohesive integration. Defining API access control and monetization needs, engaging relevant teams for implementation. Fostering partnerships with developer tooling companies to deliver strategic integrations. Working closely with marketing to engage the developer community and promote our platform. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or developer tools. Deep understanding of integration architecture, API design, and business process workflows. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams. Hands-on experience with third-party APIs and designing RESTful APIs. Proven ability to deliver customer value in fast-paced product teams. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to communicate with clarity across various stakeholders. Empathy for customer needs and a desire to learn. Capability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes. Excellent collaboration skills, making complex topics accessible. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of incident response and DevOps workflows. Ideal candidates will be near a PagerDuty office: Toronto, Atlanta, or San Francisco. The base salary range for this position is 180,000 - 304,000 USD. Eligibility for bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits also applies.
