Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company's core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles. The Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly is responsible for ensuring that all fabricated and assembled components meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with engineering specifications. Essential Job Functions: Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications Overall working knowledge of production processes Good communication skills written and verbal Good computing skills Maintain certifications as required Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies Verify that tools are qualified Prepare and maintain Quality records Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required Requirements5 years' experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection Blueprint reading experience MS Office and SAP experience Experience writing NCRs (Tags) SAP experience Previous Spirit or Boeing experience Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience
