Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Observation and Med-Surg Units, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care in alignment with hospital standards and best practices. Monitor patient status and respond to changes in patient condition promptly, adjusting care plans as needed. Administer medications, perform wound care, and support patient recovery through treatments and procedures. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is considered with relevant experience. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, ideally within an Observation or Med-Surg setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
