They are looking for a Bodywork technician to join their team in Gallatin, TN. Responsibilities: Grind, sand, file, and buff surfaces to ensure a smooth, defect-free finish. Attach, align, and fit panels, and trim using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and welding equipment. Carefully mask components, apply primers, and prepare surfaces for the paint department. Inspect finished units for defects, including sags, runs, or unpainted areas, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. Perform metal finishing and welding as needed during the assembly process. Adhere to established, time-sensitive production schedules and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, PPE usage). Apply final protective coatings. Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in automotive bodywork, manufacturing, or a related trade (e.g., composites, plastics, construction). Proficiency in using air tools, sanders, grinders, spray guns, and welders Compensation: Base salary in the 20.00 - 30.00/hour range 401k plan with 100% match up to 6% of salary (eligible after 1 year).
