Fire Alarm Service Technician

You'll be glad you applied!Responsibilities: Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained. Qualifications: Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.Must have mechanical aptitude.Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
