Your Responsibilities Performing extensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care plans. Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously as permitted. Guiding patients and families on strategies for prevention, wellness, and managing chronic illnesses. Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your practice limits. Involving in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions. Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide thorough, patient-centered care. Accurately documenting within electronic health record systems. Educational Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Essential Certifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain these within 90 days).
