As a Speech Language Pathologist in the stunning scenery of Seattle, Washington, your role will go far beyond just addressing communication and swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team inclusive of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to develop synergistic care strategies. Provide education to patients and families to support progress beyond clinical interactions. Facilitate occasional evaluations and therapy for inpatients, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient journey. Accurately maintain records and documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility standards. Commit to ongoing learning through continuing education initiatives and peer collaboration. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Credentials State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred to have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skill Set Expertise in evidence-based practices tailored for all age groups, alongside a solid understanding of developmental and acquired disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with direct patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment paired with keen problem-solving acumen. Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols. Perks of Joining Our Team Attractive compensation package proportional to experience. Flexible working hours to promote work-life integration and varied caseloads. Paths for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics. Generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay. Insurance options including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage. Support for continuing education and professional growth opportunities. A collaborative environment centered around quality care and lifelong learning. A Journey That Evolves with You In your position, you won't just focus on delivering speech therapy; you'll join an inspiring, community-focused mission dedicated to restoring voices, enhancing communication, and crafting moments of pure joy through the simplest aspects of humanity: understanding and being understood. You'll work alongside fellow clinicians who treat one another as family in an environment that prioritizes collaboration over rivalry. Every patient carries a unique story; we're excited to entrust you with the opportunity to shape how those narratives unfold.
